If any one can help me would be greatfull. New to nuendo and was wondering if a simple sequance like g d g d can be created with out a usb controller.

What I have done.

Opened a midi track and routed it through monologue vsti.

MIDI -> Merge MIDI In Loop, un sure which to select ticked all 3 -> Opened Key Editor.

Made my sequance.

Hit play, unfortunatly no sound even though "play line" ran over the notes.

Interestingly if I click on the keys to the left they produce a monologue sound.

If there is some way to play a sequance with out a controller would be great to know how.

Also how do I make it a track?

It sure can!

Not quite sure whats wrong, but this is how I'd do it.

New MIDI track - route it - Grab the pencil tool (8) - draw some midi data on the track - Double click on midi data and then draw in your notes - hit play.

Hope it works. Welcome to HRC!

Great thanks so much.

Can I ask how you would fade an effect as well.

So say I had a piano cord and I wanted to reverb out the last note in a sequance.

I dont just want the effect to just kick in I would like it to gradually wet out on the reverb say.

Thanks

automation would be the key there. Just automate the effect, and tweak the knob as you want it to sound, recording the automation.
