Okay, so I've got all these older session files from my CEP/Audition days. Is there any way to import the session files from Audition into Sonar 5?

Feb 25, 2007 01:14 pm No you'll have to rebuild the sessions in Sonar.
There is a utility you can buy that convert various session files including Audition to other apps, but I can't remember the name of it and if I remember right it's rather pricey. I'll see If I can hunt down the name. Found it it's EDL Convert but it doesn't support Sonar or Cubase.

Feb 25, 2007 05:25 pm Thanks, olddog. That's what I suspected, but I've discovered so many things on HRC that I wasn't aware of, I figured it was worth asking about. :)
Luckily, re-creating the sessions isn't too hard.

Feb 28, 2007 10:14 pm thermo, if you still ahve CEP or audition installed simply export each track as a wav file and then import them into Sonar. I used to have to do that in the old days before OMF files.
