Only had time for a quick listen but on tracks 1+2 the kick seems too low wet in the mix and not tight enough for the style. Also on all 3 I would step back on the snare as it seems too much in front. And boy haven't you wound that snare up tight!!! I'm surprised you didn't bust the skin LOL - maybe add a bit of depth to the snare sound to soften it.

I'll leave the guitars to the other more qualified folk around here.

Coz hey i'm only a drummer !!!

Welcome to HRC.

Liked the tunes, nice guitar work indeed. I agree with kaos as well on the drum advice. Are you recording real drums or using a drum program? Let us know then we can give a little advice on which way to go to get those drums punching a bit better. And ya, a bass would really help fill those tunes out.

Ah, I see we posted at the same time.

Anyway, EZ drummer should allow you to shoot out each drum sound on its own and allow for proper leveling of each piece of the kit. I think it even has multiple output's that can be directed to separate tracks in your recording software. That would make it much easier to edit and tweak the sound later.

Great guitar work, nice sound on them as well. Drums as others have said need some attention along with some bass and vocals, but definitley some hot guitar playing.

Good guitar sounds. Not really my cup of tea on the genre, but I appreciate good tone. I'd check on the EZ-Drummer program if there's a "humanize" feature. The drums seem a little too mechanical for my tastes. Add a 'smidge' of sloppiness for realism.

Good stuff.

I believe DFH has options for "humanizing" as TC said. But I really don't think they sound bad. Bands like Fear Factory and Meshugga have insanely tight drummers that some might think are all digital but it fits the style well.

Guitars sound great as many have said and there is some excellent riffage. Props and I can't wait to hear after you get used to your software.
