So i made a beat with this software i got for Christmas. the software is call "Kinetic 2" made by cakewalk. i was wording how do i get this into Sonar 5 through a re-wire. I found out sorta how to d it, but cant figure everything out. I clicked a button that made kinetic 2 its own track in sonar but i don't know what to do from there. it doesn't play in sonar it just plays from itself. How do i get the midi for kinetic to show up in chronological order in sonar 5?

Hey melty, sorry to be late. Been busy finishing a project for the scout troop.

Anyway, you actually open it kind of like a synth only you will choose open Rewire devices in the menu in Sonar for opening such stuff. As long as it is visable in Sonar it will show up as a Rewire device. Then it will sync itself to Sonar and you can simply toggle back and forth from Kinetic to Sonar when you need to edit in Kinetic. I do the same with Project 5 as well.
