Free Reason Patches

Yeah, so reason has some shitty *** string patches. It took me almost an hour to find them (I thought the combunator was the only synth module, and the rest were loopstations) and when I did I was left disappointed. Do you guys know anywhere I could find some free patches or samples? Preferably lush string sections. Like Kashmir live or Transyberian Orchestra style. No wimpy synth strings like what I'm settling for now.

the best way to do lush string sections in reason is to make your own section. So, do a violin part, and a viola part, and a cello part and layer them on top of each other.

String section i like is a soundfont available at hammersound.net for free. Go to Ensemble under sounds and look for Cadenza Strings. But again, i think the best way to do strings is layer the violin and stuff over the section and mix to taste.

yeah but there are no strings at all. just guitars and a few really bad techno harps. sounds like a great idea but i've got nothing to work with
