Wow it looks like Shepard Sam and I are matched up for the league championship! What a fun season its been, and its cool to make it to the last game.

Good luck Sam! It should be a good matchup.

dB, you cam close to a repeat of last year by sneaking into the playoffs and then making it deep!

Great score of the week for our league was Prickly Pears over Full Contact 20 - 10. Hahahaha, a shootout it was not!

Yeah, I just nrrowly missed that first round of playoffs...at least last I looked that first round was close.

Oh well, I figured it'd be rude of me to win again so I threw the game...yeah, yeah, that's the ticket.

Good luck Tadpui!

I have no idea how I made it, I was having an awful year fantasy wise but I'll take it.

Well this will be interesting tonight with the Giants playing. You have Manning and I have Burress...any points that Burress scores me will be matched by points scored by Manning.

I sure hope that he doesn't go completing passes to other players either! :-D

Hmmm, I guess I'll spend the whole game hoping for a Halfback pass to Burress for a touchdown. Or maybe he could score on an end-around. Or an interception that was fumbled, recovered by Burress, and run in for a touchdown. I'll keep dreaming up things to cheer for hahaha

:-D

I'm goin' to Disneyland!

What a matchup it was. I started out 7 points behind after the saturday night game let out. Then I got lots of help from my team throughout sunday afternoon, and ended up edging out Sam 72-59.

Great game Sam, and to everybody else who made this a fun fantasy year. Maybe I'll even stop bragging before next football season starts :)

What makes this holiday even better for me, is that the Chiefs lucked out and got a playoff spot!

Talk about doing it the hard way, here's what all had to happen yesterday for the Chiefs to back in to the playoffs:

- Chiefs win against Jacksonville
- Steelers win against Cincinatti (in overtime!)
- New England wins against Tennessee
- San Fran wins against Denver (in overtime, at Denver!!!)

Chiefs nation just pooped its collective pants yesterday. I still can't believe it. I guess none of those other teams wanted its playoff spot, so they gave it to the Chiefs.

And yeah Sam I lucked out too with Steven Jackson. I'd have lost if it weren't for his insane career day!

Congrats Tad and Sam as well for making it up against Tad. Yep the Queens indeed suck as sucky as suck can suck!!!!

But the highlight of my weekend was seeing the great actor Mr. Brett Favre.

Did anyone else see that pansy fake cry last night. I wanted to toss the TV out the window.

that was a pre-retirement speech if there ever was one. Favre is great, can't deny it.

Oh ya, no denying he is great and deserves to be recognized for that. I just thought it was the sappiest thing I ever saw, it really looked as though he was forcing himself to fake a cry. He was much more reserved and together on the ESPN interview though. Looking a bit more like the cocky guy he is normally. And not cocky in a bad way either.

I dunno, I felt for the man myself, after that many years, as hard of a competitor as he is, having just beat a dominant team this year during a horrible season, he knows he is nearing, or has reached retirement, man, I think I'd be pretty emotional too. I dunno, I didn't see it as sappy, but I can see where someone may.

I guess I shouldn't use the word sappy really. It just seemed he was forcing the tear for the camera. But your right that I think any of us would be a little choked up knowing the future is just around the corner. But hell ya, he is a better QB then most. And I am sure he will be celebrated and missed when he retires for sure.

Jeezuz, I just heard Viking Travis Taylor got tazed by the cops last night for being in a disorderly crowd, and he didn't obey police ordered and even pushed a cop, then got tazed.

Why am I a fan of this team?

I just saw the blip on the news with him stating he was in a limo and they pulled him out for something and its just a misunderstanding. Isn't it always a misunderstanding?

I know, I got an email as well. If I'm not dead by then we should maybe stop out. Otherwise I know he is supposed to be playing Prime Time again soon.

I don't buy Taylors story either myself.

On the good side!!!!

yeah, Primetime is closing in June or so tho...that'll be a short lived venue...too much trouble, fighting, shootings, stabbing, drugs, public urination, etc...

I knew about the public urination but hadn't heard about and stabbings of shootings. Fights, heard of a couple in the parking lot. It would be a bummer to see that place close for sure. New management would work though.

They must be waiting for the lease to be up then to close it down.

So, ya feel like getting a group of music minded investor's together??

Anyone on HRC one be a partner in a huge bar with a huge stage and top notch sound system?? In a prime south suburban area.
