Hey guys,

I just acquired the Behringer UCA202 Adapter and I was wondering, how do you make it record from a mixer.

The software program I'm using is Sonar Home Studio 4, and I was wondering if there is any way to record from my mixer onto my pc. (EG. transfer a mix from the mixer to the pc, and then open it using Sonar Home Studio 4.)

If the adapter cannot record what program do you guys, think I should use for this?

Thx for the help guys.

You can use it to record directly into Sonar. I suggest going here, www.behringer.com/05_supp...ds.cfm?lang=eng and downloading the ASIO drivers for the best performance.

If you haven't let windows install drivers yet I suggest doing that first. Simply follow the directions that came with the unit. It is easy, boot windows without the device plugged in. Then plug in the USB interface and windows should start the found new hardware dialog. Let it do its thing, online if it needs to to find the best drivers. Then install the ASIO driver pack from Behringer.

Next open Sonar and go to the options/audio and it will open the dialog to choose the audio driver to record and playback. It should state Behringer or USB Audio Codec or ASIO something. Not sure as I don't have the Behringer device codec in front of me. But simply select that and then ready an audio track to record and arm it for recording. Press the button and your off.

Hi.
I downloaded the Asio4all driver which so far
seems to work very well with the UCA202.I don't think the one on the Behringer site is meant for
the UCA202.Why the hell they can't make that more
obvious though is beyond me.For the price though
you can't knock Behringer and this little soundcard.
