Hi i have a mixer with 8 mic channels but i will be needing more for a gig im doing this weekend, is there anyway to get more mic inputs on it? can i add another mixer to it?

Nov 16, 2006 01:13 pm Yes,you can 'sub mix' maybe the drums with another mixer then put it through one channel although its better to use a separate channel on the main mixer for the bassdrum due to input gain levels. Other things can be 'sub mixed' but simple is better and watch you dont overload the main mix channel.

Nov 16, 2006 09:47 pm Yes it is possible. Before I had a bigger desk here I used to slave a 16 channel to my 24 channel board that way. I simply used the main outs of the slaved board into a pair of line inputs on the main board.
