logic express 7.2

I was searching through apple's website for logic pro 7.2, until i realized how expensive it is. I was taken aback, but then i found a similar product, Logic express7.2, and it was 700 dollars cheaper. the description said that it had the same features as Logic Pro. Could someone tell me the difference?

Also, i need suggestions for a cood sound card. im kind of a noob at this stuff.

I would suggest going with Express, b/c you can always upgrade to Pro for $700 more. Good luck
