Has anyone heard anything about new model packs, etc. being released by Line 6? I've got it maxed out now but I want more!

Ya, you can do the Bass POD pack. I think there is one more as well, but dont recall at the moment. But the latest firmware update was a total update. So you might want to check and make sure you have that.

Well if you have the Line 6 Monkey siimly plug in your XT via USB, open the Monkey and let it do its thing. If you haven't updated the monkey you will need to do that first, then it will find and install firmware and such updates.

As for hardware being updated on the XT. Not going to happen. It is all now done via the frimware. The Xt hardware is open ended, which non of its compatition is. And that means the chip far exceeds the need at the moment and only frimware/software updates need be applied to keep it far beyound the compatition.

noize,

digitech just released its super DNA2 chip version of the RP series. its close to time for a line 6 hardware update, they are pretty close to maxing out the current PodXT hardware(according to the line 6). they can do better but it will take a hardware upgrade its prolly an 08 release. :D
