hey peeps. I currently run the sonar/reason/rewire setup and I am generally happy with it. Myfriend keeps trying to get me to convert over to FL studio 6. I know it is rewire compatable. I also know that it uses VST and direct X plugins. I also would be using it with an M-audio delta 1010 audio card. any input? thanks.

But it really depends on what your needs are. If your going to invest money in something the likes of FL studio 6, I would highly recomend looking into Cakewalks Project 5 version 2. You will get a much better price as you allready are a Cakewalk owner. And honestly P5 has ten times the usability and much more on the synth side if that is what youare looking for. It is also both a ReWire host and a ReWire client. So it can host Reason as well and control Reason right from the P5 interface.
In my opinion FL is not a very intuative user interface and lacks many of the features found in P5.
And P5 also does support ASIO, ReWire, VST and DX.
