Could someone tell me how to do these please? I just started using this programme last week and I cant figure out how to save my final mix as a single .wav

Its probably very basic but i cannot figure it out.
Thanks!

I would suspect there is an "export to wav" type function somewhere in the file menu...

Have you tried making sure all the tracks you want mixed down are selected. I know Ableton is not as intuative as most programs when it comes to exporting the final product.

I use Project 5 v2 and it is similar to Ableton but it does have several export options, so I am sure Ableton as well must have them in a context menu somewhere. I will try and see if i can find something on it as I dont think there are any aAbleton users here.

There is a tutorial for Live on this site. I dotn know if it will help but its worth a try.

I dont uderstand why some companies have to hide the things you need to use most often.

There has to be an audio features menu somewhere that might have the export function listed in it.

still no luck....

I was really liking this programme and everythin went great with it up until this point. This should be one of the most simple things to do in the programme

I use ableton every day.

There IS a .wav output, just as stated above. Only thing I find annoying is there is ONLY .wav and one other output option, no .mp3. A file that takes 12mb in mp3 takes 2mb in mp3...

At least I have soundforge to convert it :p

Another thing I've noticed, whenever I open a song exported in soundforge, it gives me an error dialog saying there was a bad loop and it "fixes" the problem, though I dont notice a difference.

Anyways, back on topic, it IS under the file menu. If you still have problems I will be forced to take a screen shot and rub it in your face :P

i found it finally!

the only way to do it is using the "render to disk" option. There really should make it more obvious to fools like me by just giving a clear export wav option

Yeah, programmers would be well served to be forced to study usability a little bit...
