Art V3 Pro tube pre... as a guitar amp.

Man, I've been using this thing for voclas and direct bass recording and loving it for 70$.

The other day my neighbor wanted to jam and I didn't feel like carrying an amp. Solution... grab my little pre-amp, guitar and 2 cords. I ran it into his PA, turned the input and output both to 11 and got the sweetest 70's(ish) sounding guitar tone. I don't even want an amp anymore.

Sounds like you made a good choice on that one Tripps. There is always another use for gear then it was intended for.

Funny, my buddy uses one similar, or maybe the predecessor, and his vocals always turn out great. I think he runs a Shure ($350) Condenser through it. The cheap stuff keeps getting better, I swear.
