Man, I've been using this thing for voclas and direct bass recording and loving it for 70$.
The other day my neighbor wanted to jam and I didn't feel like carrying an amp. Solution... grab my little pre-amp, guitar and 2 cords. I ran it into his PA, turned the input and output both to 11 and got the sweetest 70's(ish) sounding guitar tone. I don't even want an amp anymore.

Sep 15, 2006 10:54 pm Funny, my buddy uses one similar, or maybe the predecessor, and his vocals always turn out great. I think he runs a Shure ($350) Condenser through it. The cheap stuff keeps getting better, I swear.
