Hey HRC folks!

I've sort of lost track of HRC in the last few months... probably more like the last year, actually-- but I thought I'd stop in and share some of the stuff I've been working on in my absence.

Feel free to critique away!

This first one is a punk tune I did all on my own (drums, bass, guitar, vocals, recording/mixing/mastering):

These four are worship covers I did with some friends from a Christian outreach team at the University of Connecticut. They're part of a full 9 song CD (I was the drummer/recording & mixing engineer):

Hey Porp, that aim and miss track is pretty kool. I liked whatever you did with the vocals on that one. Very interesting. Its got something going on with the overall sound that I found interesting.

The UConn Crusade stuff was amazing. Very stunning music. Well arranged and recorded. Was that done in your studio? Definately excelant vocalists there as well.

Hey, thanks for the kind words, Noize!

Yes, the Crusade stuff was done in my home studio as well.

The vocals in "My Last Chance" are all doubled up with the double much lower in the mix. The high harmonies are doubled and panned L+R. Everything's autotuned, mostly for the sake of effect. Recorded through my GT66 mic, compressed with an RNC and the lead also compressed with DigitalPhishPhones Blockfish plug-in comp with a bit of added saturation. There's also a slight touch of phaser/chorus on the lead line. Lots of lower harmonies layered in the chorus.

Yeah, I went all out seeing as its my own voice :D

I gotta say it does have a very polished sound, meaning very nicely done.
