Hey, I jsut wanted to let you guys know that i ended up picking up a FirePod and Sonar 5 Producer to replace my Digi 002Rack and Pro-tools.

Man that was a good choice. took me about 10 minutes to install sonar and the drivers for the firepod, booted it up and it works. I honestly can not tell the difference between the pre-amps, only that i get more with the firepod.

as far as the software, its a lot more compact then pro-tools is. Now i only have my mix window up and i can control as many things as i would if i had my entire screen smashed full of windows.

question:
How do i bounce a song to wav formatt? id look in the book, but my brother drove off with it and i cant get it back until next weekend.

I'll probably be dropping in to ask adive/questions from you guys from time to time, for im still not used to the software.

thanks a lot guys, for all of your adive throughout my home recording journy. wither it was chioces between hardware (mic's, software. ect) or technique its really payed off and i feel like ive made some good mixes which has a lot to do with you guys.

Select all the tracks you want to export, and make sure and mute the ones you dont want in the mix. Make sure your settings are all good to go.

The go to file/export, and choose the format you wish. Make sure to click all the boxes to export FX, panning and all automation and such. Then name that file and send it out to the folder of your choosing.

That should get you there.
