any idea about M-AUDIO FASTTRACK PRO performance? i am gonna buy it to use with my laptop for home recording.

The interface is a good one. USB is still a little fidgety, but I had just read their drivers are getting steadier then the first set that was released for the unit. The specs are comparable to most in that price range. It is not the highest end unit but well built and does the job very well.
