I'm looking at buying a usb interface for my laptop so I can do some recording at home and on the road. I want to be able to record guitar, bass, vocals and drums.
The two that i were originally looking at were the m-audio fast track usb and the line-6 toneport ux1.
Since I saw those two I've done some more research and have realised that i will need atleast 2 xlr inputs to be able to record drums.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a suitable usb interface for me that is not too expensive(100-200us) because im still a poor student.
My last question is if I have looked past anything, do I need anything other than the interface hardware wise?
Thanks for any help

The Edirol UA25 www.homerecordingconnecti...Audio+Interface is about the least expensive you'll find with two XLR inputs...I'd say you are better off getting some device with two regular 1/4" or RCA inputs and maybe a cheap Behringer 6 channel mixer or something like that.
