Drum Triggers?

Iv decided to start out by getting a trigger for by bass drum and probably my snare too.
Are the Ddrums Red triggers a good choice? As always i cant afford the ultimate top of the line equipment. I will be using the module from my electrionic kit.i assume the trigger will work in the smae way as my electronic kick pad and the bass dum will not need to be miced when triggered?

But just a quick answer for ya. Yes the Ddrum Red are fine triggers. They dont ghost much and will work just fine. And yes you simply plug them in just as your regular electronic drum triggers do. You may need to adjust the sesativity a little to get them to not ghost trigger, but it should be all good.
