Hey all, I was using a single AKG C-1000 for recording overheads as I could not afford two at the time. I recently was browsing the local music store and chatting with the salesguy about my single mic dilemma. He brought out the C-2's to show me as he had sold several pair and people were liking them.

I'm pretty happy with them so far and just wondered if anyone else has used these. At $60.00 the Bang vs. Buck IMHO is fantastic for anyone doing home recordings as a hobby.

They came with a matched pair of mics (extremely small in size), two windscreens, two mounts, a cool little T-Bar that mounts to a single stand for Stereo setup, and a hardcase for transport. I got all that for 59.99 plus a 5% discount for being a regular.

Nice one indeed. I know I purchased a pair of Samson C02's on a wim for the very same reason. Just to have anextra pair of small diaphragm condensors on hand. Well they work spalendidly for th money. A bit more then the C-2's but the same kind of bang for th e buck theory there as well.
