Acid is a great multitracking app (just ask one of the mods "collapse") it's a lot like Vegas, which I use a lot...Sound Forge Studio is like a lite version of Sound Forge Pro, which is a very nice mastering app. Acid pro also comes with over 400 Acid loops!
$149 is un-!^@%@$#-believable price for Acid pro alone, let alone Sound Forge Studio as well...grab it while you can.

but everyone has their own techniques for recording. to each their own hehe.

Oct 25, 2002 08:25 am Well, since I already have Vegas I deemed it unnecessary to purchase Acid, however, looking at the advancements, namely video support and surround sound I am stuck, do I get Acid or do I wait until Vegas 4 is out, assuming it will also get the surround sound feature?
I think I will download a demo of Acid pro 4 and check it out...when I posted this thread, all I knew is that it was almost unbelievably cheap for what the package is and I wanted to share the find with my friends at HRC ;-)
