Cool song dude, im just gonna throw my two cents in, but first look for the mic'in techniques in HRC and pick that suits you. I usually put my amp in another room and close it up, so i dont have to hear it, and around the amp i build alittle fort of blankets and stuff, to stop any reverb and make it totally dry. I also think think this kinda fattens up teh sound a bit. The fort i build is really small and encases the amp. Then i turn the amp up REALLY loud, pretty much as loud as i can without wreckin it. I dont use alot of distortion, because its actually thicker if its actually clear. We just give enough to know that its distorted. And then we layer it about twice or three times according to how heavy we want, with different guitars and eq settings on the amp. This thickens up alot.. but then from what i learned hear about eqing comes the weird part. I actually eq on the track until the guitars r pretty thin. They fill up some of the high end and mids and almost none of the lows, and each track on its own is pretty unimpressive, but when they come together their nice, and then you bring up the bass guitar under them and its fine. yeah thast my very long two cents, but yeah its all about the amps you got and the mics and their positions first off. Coz i dont have very good equipment and its hard to get the sound i want.
