www.musicip.com/
this analyzes your music collection and then generates playlists based on mood. just give it a seed song or two, and click generate. the playlists can be exported to your ipod. so far, so good: it works more than it doesnt work!
turbulence.org/Works/song/
this shows you visually how songs are structured. it uses midi files people find on the web. lots of modern stuff there. kind of nice to look at, but im not sure how information-rich it is; im not sure what you can get out of it that you can't get out of it just by listening.
anyway.
if no one knows about this yet:
del.icio.us
thats where i've been finding cool links lately. this is an online bookmark organizer/community. if myspace were all about bookmarks. i'm liking it. im not sure how many people know about it. for all i know, i'm late to the game.

May 27, 2006 06:09 pm what is ufc 60? my friend got me watching a few of the thuesday night ufc reality shows. i guess this is a real fight though?
by the way who are you rooting for on the thursday night reality show? my friend idolizes shamrock, and i thought he was cool at first too, whereas the other guy just looked like an arse. but then shamrock made some stupid management mistakes right off the bat--his training methods looked like they sucked. so now i dont like either of them so much. except the other guy, i can at least respect his coaching style. and he seems more reserved and serious than i thought he would be.
May 27, 2006 06:29 pm The 60th Ultimate Fighting Championship fight, it's tonight in about 3 hours...
Royce Gracie - undefeated in the cage, Brazillian JiuJitsu Master, and the head of the JiuJitsu Network under which I train. www.roycegracie.tv he rocked back in the day, but he is aging and going up against a younger guy at the top of his game...I dunno if he'll win, but it'll be a great match.
