for the past week, ive been posting ur link on practically every other site with an add links option on it. i just feel so damn guilty i couldnt do more to support u guys... hopefully, my band is getting reviewed by a big producer next week, if we get signed ill make sure to make somekind of gesture to order studio stuff and misc. through ur links to musicfriend... so keep ur fingers crossed for me eh? thanx for being an awesome site!

This gives me a chance at saying something to all the members:
Thanks to the generosity of a few of the members financially, several through their affiliate purchases and many through their promotion of this site (like crux has been doing) we now have enough funding to stay online through the end of 2003. The server space charges are covered...or close to the end of 2003 anyway, haven't sat down and looked at the exact numbers. And that is just space, not the time and energy of the staff, so the site may be here, but how fast more articles and such stuff get added may be another story. Though the Mods and contributors are kickin butt with some great new content lately.
So thanks to all who have helped the cause.

I'am planning to buy new gear soon, a behringer compressor for sure, a rack stand, a behringer headphone amp and a pair of audiotechnica headphones. I'am definitely buying at musician's friend through the link in this site to help a little.
What do people like me need to be a contributor??
I think I could write some articles or contribute with some tips and tricks that can help some people. I'd love to be a contributor and to see more activity in this amazing forum (I think the best forum).
Nov 08, 2002 02:56 pm Sonico, just hit up myself or Noize2u when you have an article ready for approval, we will then give your "Contributor" permissions that will make some new links automagically appear allowing you to submit articles pending the approval of the staff (Noize and I).
We are always looking for groovy new content.

Seeing the community grow like this has made it worth while, although lately time has been in short supply for myself as well as dB. I have watched over the last few week's and seen that there are plenty answer's coming many new member's as well. So this has given me some much needed time to work on my own stuff for a while and not spend so many countless hour's here. Although I can't seem to stay away for too long.
