Hi all!
I was wondering if there is any software out there that will let me use my computer keyboard like a synthesizer.
Aside from the instrument samples i guess i need some sort of sequencer program and something to translate my keystrokes into notes?
Thanks!

May 09, 2006 05:03 pm FL Studio (fruity loops) does this already. I've fiddled around with it, playing notes around. I can't remember how to activate it, as I think it was active already.
FL Studio is great for samples too. It will play VSTi synths, plus lotsa other stuff.
I'm thinking reason or project will probably do that too.
May 09, 2006 05:19 pm ive used that in fruity loops and im trying to get away from the whole "click the box when you want the note to play" sorta thing, unless fruity loops lets you use a qwerty keyboard for playing .wav samples that i dont know about
