When I press play in audition multitrack view the whole program hangs, changes to 'not responding' then eventually rights itself. But still it won't play.
It's fine in edit view and my delta 44 is working ok.
They are not massive session files and I've nver had this problem before. I have a Pentium IV 3.0 1GB RAM.
Can anybody help?
much obliged to ye

May 02, 2006 08:33 am What have you changed on your PC? Any config changes, new driver updates, OS updates or software installs done recently?
Sounds like Audition suddenly does not like your sound device for some reason.

May 02, 2006 08:38 am Yay!
Just fixed it. Cheers db. I had a play with a few options in the control panel. I had it set to use default device.
Cheers for the pointer db :)
May 02, 2006 08:49 am yeah, but check if a new driver is out first.
The last driver update was almost exactly a year ago though, so I am pretty sure youhave the most recent unless you REALLY suck at keeping things current.

May 02, 2006 08:18 pm Definately dont use a microsoft driver for the Delta. I tried using what MS defaulted to once and it didnt work so well. Always use the drivers supplied by the maker of the card.
