I just got my new Delta 44. I like it, However, I would like to record in sterreo when a I use GT2. when I arm the track, hit record the sound is great, but when I play back the guitar or lead part, I only get one channel, the left side, this is very noticable when I pan. The sounds drops alot. I have checked the monitor window in the Delta 44 panel, When I start to record it lights up as two, but when I play back it only lights on the left side. Do I have to reselect the delta 1/2, and/or 3/4 in the windows pannel as well. I would like to be able to record in sterreo for panning.
Thnaks.

Apr 15, 2006 04:21 am In your recording software, on the outputs select the delta 1/2 (or 3/4) stereo option. Maybe that's the problem. I'll check in tommorow, tired now.

But you need to set taht in the input section of the track bvefore you record it. But if it is recording as a mono track you shouldnt loose any volume when panning. That is a bit strange.

Apr 15, 2006 11:05 pm thnks for th e info, however ater tinkering around with the differnt settings I am still a lil corn-fused. I can recorcord now n sterreo only when I select the right channel, with out any bleeding of other tracks. when I select in sterreo I get bleeding when I record. I also notice that in win xp audio set up, there are options, would I select delta mon-mix or delta 3/4? also, I am not sure in patch/router tab to select mon-mix or wh/out. corn-fused again. for the time being, I am recording with the R-delta 44 to get sterreo and pan without bleeding. but its anoying to look at it like that.
any suggestions?

Apr 16, 2006 12:30 am Have a look at the patchbay/router config I have here.
This should be how yours is set. It will allow the channels to work together without bleeding through. Windows should not have any control for you application at all. IT should all be on the Delta control panel and the audio preferances in your recording application, GT Pro in your case.
You need to go into the Options/Audio tab of GT and set your drivers and input output preferance for the application. Then in your track view in GT Pro you should be able to choose Delta 44 L/R Stereo for you input on that particular track.
If by chance windows has somehow grabbed some control you need to uncheck the what you hear box in the windows control panel as well.
