Small interconnect cables--do they exist?

Is there such thing as an extremely small interconnect cable, like half a foot long? I need 8 and I really dont want to pay for lots of extra feet of expensive high quality cable when I wont be using it. Do any companies make good quality tiny cables?

They'd be easy enough to make that short if you know how to solder...or even if you're willing to learn...

Are these for coupling stomp boxes, or patch cables for a patch bay or something?

A few companies make cable kits where they give you a big length of cable and some solder-less ends. Then you just cut the cable to length and screw on the connectors.

The brands I see that do this are Planet Waves, Core Cable, George L, and a few others.

They also make a solid 1/4 to 1/4 unit to do the same thing. I used them for years live. But I had a custom built pedal board so nothing could move around.

I've always wondered about those solid metal pedal couplers. The lack of shielding always made me wonder...are they prone to interference?
