I can't find any decent tones for my POD and I haven't been very successful in creating some of my own. I'm looking for some metal/rock tones that I could use for recording direct I'm working on some new demos and I'm too picky about tone for my own good. I need something that has alot of gain to it but can still voice the notes out clearly because alot of my tones have been sounding muddy and hard to make the seperate notes out

how about starting here www.homerecordingconnecti...10518&frm=2 perhaps together we can all learn to make better tones rather than having split up conversations...

I'm sure some people can manage to get a decent rock/metal sound from the PODxt but I sure cant. BUT I purchase a Digitech GNX3 and that sucker is awsome! It has a great crystal clear and powerful distortion preset right out of the box which I have never come close to with the PODxt or micing my half stack.

This is a fantastic thread over at the Line6 forum that includes a load of bundles created by users. You can download them and load them in using Line 6 Edit, read the whole thread, there's a lot of bundles included and most have at least a few great tones
