Help please, mixer setup question

my hardware:

Gina 20 Soundcard
Behringer mx602a mixer

I would like to be able to record guitar over some Fruity Loop beats but im having a problem.

My signal path is mic'ed guitar cabinet into Channel 1 input, main out of mixer into soundcard analog input.

I can record with this setup ok but i have no way to monitor the drum beats im recording over. So i need to setup my mixer to take 2 outputs from my soundcard, and route them through my mixer so i can connect my headphones.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you all.

Does the 602a have an Aux out on it? If so you can send your guitar signal out that into the Gina and then take the stereo outputs from the Gina to your mixer and listen through headphones as suggested.

It is still Spring Break for many so response time is a little slow.

And Welcome to HRC by the way.

Thanks! Glad to be here.

The mixer has a single aux send, not sure if its mono or a stereo crammed into one jack, but its there.

Ok tell me if this is right.

Guitar cab comes into Channel 1, Aux knob set full clockwise to send signal to Aux send - Aux send goes to Gina input - Stereo Outs from Gina go into Channel 3/4 of mixer, Aux send set full counter-clockwise keeping it from going back to the send - Headphones into mixer Phone Jack for monitoring.

That sounds correct. You just dont want to send the signal from 3/4 back to the Gina is all and you have that correct from what I read.

And the Aux send jack should be mono only. So it will only record the singal channel for you.
