Alright, now i know theres probly only 2 people on here that use Pro-Tools........ so here i go
I switched out my digi001 and got TDM. Everything plays fine. Issue im having is when i try adding an audio track (to a previous file created in 001) and selecting SPDIF as my input its states that the signal path is n/a. I dont have that issue when creating a brand new session.
Any ideas to how to fix that or get around it.
Gracias my peeps here at the HRC.

Mar 16, 2006 10:46 am Which TDM hardware you get?
I would first check the I/O settings and check the input tab for the SPDIF path and see what it's assigned to.
If using an interface like a 192 or 96 check Hardware Setup and see if you have SPDIF assigned as any of the inputs, if not then do so and use the input pair you assign.
I'm tired so I may be leaving something out.
Mar 16, 2006 02:52 pm Aright im a freakin idiot, i meant MIX, Mix system, im using the 882/20 interface, and my SPDIF is set as the first input, even double checked my I/O settings.
Mar 16, 2006 07:04 pm don't worry, I had a similar problem working in someone elses HD setup after using my LE. It kept saying I could not add more than 32 tracks, and I didnt know you had to assign the number of playback voices you had in the setup somewhere too... I was like "what's the point of using HD if its gonna act like LE. The owner was also dumb founded... until some exploration of the setup sections. I think he has beed using it that way ever since he got it and never really used more than 32 tracks!
