ok ok, i'm feeling absoultely retarded (and lazy) and can't, for the life of me, figure out how to set up an aux buss in cubase, i've got a mixing gig this weekend (i didn't record the tracks) and my plan was just to go with Sonar, but my studio here is based around cubase (although i went ahead and installed sonar aswell).....the owner insists i use cubase, so i figure i'll give it a shot....i can get around okay in it, but i have yet to see an aux buss....i have a habbit of using 10+ busses in my mixes and lotsa automation...so yeah either i learn it, or goto sonar.
oh, SX3 btw
thanks all

Feb 24, 2006 05:09 pm I use SE, which I don't think uses Aux busses...
I found a tutorial, but it doesn't say which version of Cubase it pertains to . See if this makes any sense to you (it doesn't really to me):
Open Track Mixer (Press F3)
Select track and click Edit Channel ("e")
Far right column = 8 AUX BUS settings
Click "Standby" button to "Send" track
Bar underneath sets track send level
Adjust level (drag left/right) - Play - Experiment

Feb 25, 2006 03:34 pm In SX3 they're called "FX Channel"
Right Click > Add FX Channel Track > Select FX.
Then select the track you want and go to the 'sends' menu. Click on a blank space and select your Fx channel
