Sound Soundcard advice anyone?

Yo all
I'm aware there's already a topic on which software is best for recording 6 tracks at a time on a computer. My question is which hardware is best? A Tascam card was mentioned. I know, both by reputation and experience, a few soundcards, but nothing that will do more than 4 tracks, and I really want 6.

Any advice?

Jack

M-Audio Delta 1010 or ESI's ESP 1010 would be two good ones.

Yep, I will second that opinion. As well I own an ESI ESP1010 and love it.

Presonus Firepods are great also. They run really solid as well.
