If you see a product advertised on HRC, that does not necessarily indicate HRC endorses that product. Many of the ads on the site are managed by third party ad servering systems. We do actively ban ads that we find as fraudulent, misleading or against HRC's mission.

Music on HRC:

All of the music that is posted on HRC is owned by the member that posted to the best knowledge of the staff of Home Recording Connection. If you find any music that is owned by you, that you did not post here and you want down, simply contact the site owner and work out a way to prove ownership and the postings will be removed. HRC in no way encourages piracy of any sort, and actively discourages it when mentioned in our forums by other members.

Forum Use:

The message forums on HRC are for the discussion of recording between members of the community, not for shameless, spammy self-promotion of your products and/or services. We have avenues available for advertisement on HRC. If you post spammy, unwanted ads in our forum they will be met with mocking from our membership at best, deletion when they are discovered by and admin on average, and the disabling of your account at worst.
